The Local Community

Emmanuel is a church which seeks to be at the centre of its community. We provide facilities for use by those in the local area. At present our church centre is used by a number of groups – Cheerleaders, Tumbletots and KeepFit– to name but a few. We have excellent facilities for functions such as birthday parties, celebrations or group activities. We have a large function room with a wooden dance floor, two other rooms and kitchen facilities with toilets. These rooms are available for hire as a one off or for regular activities at a reasonable rate. For further information contact our Centre Manager on 0161 437 3020. This is held on the first Saturday of every month between 10:15am and 12 noon in Emmanuel Church Hall where home-made cake is served with tea and coffee. On the first Saturday of every month there is also a cake stall selling home-made cakes. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available as well as plants (when in season). The atmosphere is very friendly, informal and there is an open invitation to everyone.
